Jeannie MansillPresident. The moment I went from a stay-at-home mom to a social worker was when my eyes were truly open to the challenges people face in the community. After working in the mental health field for one year, I was hired by Bryan ISD to coordinate parent education. In 1995, I was awarded a grant to start Project Unity. Today PU is empowering and strengthening the BCS community by caring for its people, supporting and educating its families and fostering hope and change.
David RogersMedical Case Manager. I grew up in Clear Lake, southeast of Houston. I came to the Brazos Valley to attend Texas A&M where I received my Bachelor's degree in 2016. Prior to working for Project Unity, I worked for a nonprofit in Houston exposing youth to poverty and diversity in inner-city environments through volunteering at several places. I have a passion for the outdoors, good stories, and helping people.
Imani AppletonMedical Case Manager. I was born and raised in the U.S Virgin Islands. Later, I went to work in Tampa, Florida as a research scientist, concentrating on oncology. I have come to work at PU because I want to learn the policies and procedures involved with management of a nonprofit organization.
Andi HawthorneData Specialist. I have lived in the Bryan College Station area almost all of my life, I have been here at PU for over 7 years, My favorite past time is spending time with my grand babies!
Freddie HunterTransportation Specialist. I was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. Upon graduating in May 1970 I attend Blinn Jr. College in Brenham, obtaining an AA degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I then attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. I then completed my BS degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix. I worked for 25 years at Texas A&M (Sponsored Research Services). I began working as the Transport Driver for Project Unity in 2015.
